Ike

The hardest thing for a nigga is seeing his woman hurt. What makes the situation even worse, is knowing that it had something to do with him. I wish I had never put Camry in danger, even if it wasn’t intentional. I wasn’t thinking about Frank when I was with her, and that was my first mistake. I shouldn’t have let my guard down when it came to that muthafucka. I knew he was capable of some despicable shit, but this shit right here what he is going to pay for with his sorry life.

When Camry finally opened her eyes, I was happy and worried at the same time. I was happy because she was awake and able to speak, but I was worried because I didn’t know how she was going to feel about me. Will she blame me? Even though this whole ordeal that she has been through is my fault, I don’t want her to blame me because I don’t want to lose her. I love Camry, like I’ve never loved a woman before. When she and I first met, the fact that she fought so hard to save my life, shows that we are meant to be together.

Once Tanisha and Shianne have left us alone, I have to face the music and deal with whatever she throws at me. I really didn’t want the two of them to leave, but I know that they have their own lives to deal with. I’m sure Tanisha can’t wait to get back so she can start running my business and pushing niggas around. If it’s one thing I know about my little sister, she loves being in charge. She loves having a reason to pull out her gun and shoot, especially if it’s someone who’s mouthing off or getting out of line.

I have never seen a woman who loves to pull the trigger the way Tanisha does. I’m glad though, because she’s my ride or die. My sister has had my back longer than anybody else in this world, and I have hers. The two of us have always been thick as thieves, despite our age difference. I love my little sister, and that’s exactly why I’m going to kill Frank when I get my hand on him. But now, as I look over at Camry, I wonder if that expression on her face means the end for us.

“I’m so glad that you’re going to be okay,” I say.

“Yea, me too.”

“I’m sorry this had to happen to you baby. I never meant for you to be caught in the middle of this shit with me and that crazy ass nigga. I should have known that if he found out about us, he would do something, especially after what he did to my sister,” I say.

What happened to your sister?”

“Frank sexually assaulted her too,” I say.

“Ike, I love you, but I don’t want to be involved in this. That man was brought into the hospital five months ago and I saved him.
